Kristie & Caleb – Twin Cities MN Wedding Photographer
As I headed out to shoot Krisite and Caleb’s wedding a few weeks ago, I couldn’t help but think about the song “Ironic” by Alanis Morissette. As you may know, in this song she things about ironic things like “having 10,000 spoons when all you need is a knife” or “like having rain on your wedding day”. These struck me because as ironic as rain is on your wedding day, it is not nearly as ironic as rain on your wedding day in the middle of winter in Minnesota. However, that is just what we got for Kristie and Caleb’s wedding. Many brides may have been upset with the rain, but Kristie had a smile all day long (see pictures below). Despite the terrible weather the day went off perfectly.
Congrats Kristie and Caleb!!!
In case you missed it, here is Kristie and Caleb’s engagement session:
Ceremony – Trinity Lutheran of Minnehaha Falls
Reception – Holiday Inn Metrodome This is how you embrace having rain on your wedding day…with a smile. Love this shot! I don’t think it’s possible to look at this photo without smiling…go ahead and try it. I had clear away a bunch of tables at the restaurant, but it was worth it.
