Minneapolis Wedding Photographer – Jessica & Brett Northrop Engagement
By complete coincidence, I met Jessica & Brett last June. I was photographing a wedding at the Fort Snelling Chapel and Brett and Jessica were touring the chapel for their reception. We ended up talking and I gave them my card. The rest is history. So lucky to work with this couple. Jessica coordinated great casual and formal outfits for the session. Brett and Jessica were beyond fun! Brett is a very likeable guy and can really make Jessica laugh. The shoot started at Northrop and ended at the Stone Arch Bridge. The night shots at the end may be some of my favorites. Looking forward to Jessica and Brett’s wedding this fall!!!
I took this photo purely for my own amusement. I just wanted Brett to feel what it is like to be Jessica (always looking up) This one on the left just screams…awesome IMO. There is a story behind these last two shots. We had just about wrapped up the session and I was taking down my gear. As we were walking back to our car, we were being attacked by billions on bugs. I asked Brett and Jessica if they could stand being out for just a few more minutes because I had an idea. They may have thought I was crazy, but the result is one of my most favorite shots of all time (Big thanks to the bugs for making this shot sparkle)
